Her Story
Monica Woodard is an encouraging speaker to all of God's people. God has called for her to serve him and encourage those who have lost a loved one. She believes his people need to know there is a purpose after pain. Monica thought she lost it all on June 27, 2016, when her daughter Jamie Marie Knox passed away, nothing could have prepared Monica for the darkness that followed. Jamie had just started a nonprofit and she named it Jamie’s Angels on the Move in March of 2016. In September of 2018, God placed it on her heart to pick up where Jamie stopped to pursue her vision. God has allowed Monica to be able to renew through this and now she is the CEO and Director of Jamie’s Angels. God has allowed her to be used for his purpose by helping his people through outreach, resources, and events for young adults with special needs. Monica now realizes that what happened to Jamie was just the beginning of God turning her Pain into Purpose. He revealed to Monica how to find the light amid suffering and healing.
